Promote emergent literacy and the love of reading by providing high quality, age appropriate books to eligible children, birth to their fifth birthday, directly to their home at no cost to parents or legal guardian.

Care to Help's current focus is securing healthy drinking water for the minority hill tribe people of Central Vietnam. Many people in the rural Central Highlands do not have a safe source for clean drinking water. Securing a safe source of water is the essential foundation of a healthy existence.

Teach For America exists to address the problem of the opportunity gap; our mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort. In the immediate term, we serve as a critical source of talented and committed teachers, called corps members, who compensate for the additional challenges their students face to provide them with the educational opportunities they deserve. Our corps members' positive impact on students' academic achievement provides tangible evidence that it is possible for all students to succeed when they get the right support. At the same time, helping their students succeed intensifies corps members' sense of urgency and gives them a deep grounding in what it will take to ensure that all students in our nation have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Over the long run, we produce an alumni force with the talent, conviction, insight, and experience to effect the fundamental changes necessary to realize our vision of educational opportunity for all. Our alumni work directly for change at every level of our education system, while also exerting pressure for positive change from outside the system:* continuing to serve as teachers, school principals, and district administrators* taking the pressure off schools by working to remediate the challenges of poverty by working in careers supporting economic development, public health, social services, and law* pioneering innovations in public service as social entrepreneurs* shaping our priorities and policies as advocates, policy advisers, elected officials, and influencers in other sectors.

Prism United responds to the comprehensive needs of LGBTQ youth. Specifically, Prism works to mitigate the psychological, socio-economic, and academic disadvantages caused by repression and victimization.

Active Minds is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization supporting mental health awareness and education for youth and young adults with a network of more than 1,000 campus chapters, schools, communities and workplaces. Founded in 2003, Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) is committed to ending discrimination based upon gender identity and expression and to achieving equality for transgender people through test-case litigation, public education, direct legal services, community organizing and public policy efforts. In 2024, TLDEF merged with National Center for Transgender Equality (EIN 41-2090291) to form a new organization, Advocates for Trans Equality. The new organization will use NCTE's old EIN until it has its own tax-exempt determination from the IRS.

To discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest.

The Half Percent Project was created to educate foundations and philanthropists on the plight of animals and the need to consider animal welfare as part of their giving portfolio. We help animal welfare organizations improve their structure, governance, and operations and obtain access to funds. We will provide the “playbook” to transformation and funds to support this. We want to encourage philanthropists and foundations to direct a half percent of their annual giving towards supporting animal welfare.
