The mission of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) is to honor and preserve the legacy of service and educate all generations about the impact of the Vietnam War. Based in Arlington, Virginia, VVMF is the nonprofit organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1980 to build a national memorial dedicated to all who served with the U.S. armed forces in the Vietnam War. Incorporated on April 27, 1979 by a group of veterans led by Jan C. Scruggs, the organization sought a tangible symbol of recognition from the American people for those who served in the war. The result was the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (commonly referred to as The Wall), which has become one of the most visited memorials in Washington, D.C. with an estimated 5.6 million annual visitors.

The Headstrong Project is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free PTSD treatment to our service members, veterans, and family connected to their care. Our goal is to help our clients “Triumph Over Trauma” by providing them with effective mental health treatment. South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, Inc. (“ALLIANCE”) is organized exclusively for charitable and education purposes. The purpose of this corporation is to provide world class facilities for a military heritage museum and education center, along with office, business and meeting space for the benefit, encouragement, camaraderie and esprit de corps of military veterans, active duty servicemembers, actively-serving Reserve Component (i.e. Reserve and National Guard) servicemembers, their families and all who support them, all within the meaning of IRC Chapter 501(c)(3).

Recognizing the responsibility of communities to help those who serve, Clear Path for Veterans empowers service members, veterans, and their families through supportive programs and services in a safe, respectful environment.

This all-volunteer non-profit organization strives to bring awareness and well deserved respect and options for a final resting place for our nation's honorably discharged veterans. A top priority is the enhancement and beautification of the northern most nationally recognized veterans cemetery in Maine-the Maine Veterans Cemetery-Caribou. Our goal is to work cooperatively with the State of Maine Bureau of Veterans Affairs, along with public, private and religious entities as well as professional organizations to advocate for veterans in matters relating to burial options for our most treasured veterans.
