Veteran Tickets Foundation - ( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members, veterans and first responders to stay engaged with local communities and American life.( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) provides tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military, Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA and first responders.( Vet Tix - 1st Tix ) secures tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation. VetTixers and 1stTixers sign up online. We verify their service. John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation was created to continue the tradition of giving set forth by my father, John T. Holzum. He was a man of great integrity and character. He gave of himself relentlessly while being a great husband, exceptional father of six children, owning a business, serving as president of a school board, and serving as Faithful Navigator of his Knights of Columbus council. John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation produces events to raise funds for a variety of benefactors. Country Family Reunion benefits the USO of Missouri, and Mission Possible benefits Professor Craig & Shari Miner's mission trips to foreign orphanages to assist children with disabilities. The foundation funds a variety of special needs cases, including sending underprivileged children to Summer camp, buying Christmas presents for homeless children, and purchasing a violin for a young aspiring musician. The foundation will start a scholarship for two graduating high school seniors beginning in 2018. We intend to serve more causes as our foundation grows! John T. Holzum Memorial Foundation's staff have worked together for a decade to serve the needs of many in our community, and a wonderful support group of volunteers rounds out the family the makes our foundation a success! To design and build The American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial as a symbol of honor and unity for all disabled veterans from all branches of the service and from all conflicts and generations; and to educate, inform and remind all Americans of the human costs of war, and of the sacrifices that our disabled veterans have made on behalf of American freedoms.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES AID, ASSISTANCE, EXPERIENCES, PURPOSE, INSPIRATION AND HOPE TO CHILDREN BATTLING SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITIONS, MILITARY VETERANS IN NEED, AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Our mission is to serve as a resource for the community to ease the readjustment and reintegration of military members returning from our current wars and their families, as well as veterans from previous eras. We work towards peace and healing by providing the services required, advocating for clients, assisting the community at large in finding these services through other agencies, or facilitating the creation of programs by individual organizations. In addition, we strive to help develop future mental healthcare professionals who work with our demographic by offering internships and other professional development opportunities. In this way we are able to directly address the constantly growing need for well-trained providers to our community.

Expedition Balance supports the mental health of Veterans in a significant and lasting way. Through yoga, meditation, artistic expression, outdoor living, and so much more, we help veterans heal. This is real mental health support. Our programs are designed to make a difference and our teachers are qualified to offer experiential healing. Expedition Balance is committed to helping Veterans who return home with emotional trauma regain their lives.

Our mission is to support Navy Seals, their families and the military units which support or serve beside them in combat situations.

Paralyzed Veterans of America – Wisconsin Chapter (PVA-WI) works to improve the quality of life for veterans, in our state, living with spinal cord injury or disease, including those with MS and ALS. Our work is carried out through programs that focus on research and education, quality healthcare, access to benefits, advocacy and legislation, membership and outreach, and adaptive sports and recreation.

The Armed Forces Service Center was founded by Maggie Purdum on November 22,1970, after her son died in Vietnam. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the center relies on funding from various veterans’ organizations and their auxiliaries as well as private businesses and individuals.

Support The Enlisted Project (STEP) provides emergency financial and transition assistance grants to active duty and recently discharged enlisted military and their families. Financial assistance is provided in 12 categories encompassing a wide range of emergency needs. Military and veteran families often struggle to meet their most basic needs due to California's high cost of living index. Awarding financial assistance as a grant, not a loan, ensures that these families can move forward without the burden or worry of paying off another debt.The war in Afghanistan is winding down and our service members are returning home to fight a very different battle. Severe defense budget cuts are forcing hundreds of thousands of service members to involuntarily separate from the military with very little resources, support, or opportunities for employment. STEP will continue our efforts to support active duty military families, but now we also pay special attention to our recently discharged veterans as they struggle to successfully reintegrate back into civilian society. STEP is a reliable, relevant, and responsive Southern California resource that our Nation's heroes and their families can depend upon in their time of need.
