The mission of Capital Roots is to cultivate and nourish communities by creating equitable access to fresh food and green spaces in support of a robust regional food system. We serve Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties in New York State's Capital Region.

We envision a community in which everyone has sufficient nutritious food. Our unrelenting focus is to provide nutritious food to our neighbors in a respectful manner while engaging our community in the fight against hunger. We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community by providing food distribution and support services with dignity and respect.

At Mama’s Kitchen we believe that everyone is entitled to the basic necessity of life — nutritious food. As a community-driven organization, we provide nutrition support to men, women, and children affected by AIDS or cancer who are vulnerable to hunger.

GO Pantry helps hungry kids in our community who do not have enough to eat on days they are away from school. We live in this community and strive to make a positive impact on kids in our area by providing food to those who are hungry. We believe that "to those whom are given much, much is required." Our "much" includes time and resources to create a mobile pantry that fills the gap for children relying on the school system for basic food needs. As a secondary mission, we have found a way to involve many people with volunteer and giving opportunities. We believe we can make a difference in the life of child by providing them food and in the life of a volunteer by giving them an opportunity to serve.

Bridging the Gap is a nonprofit organization based in Coweta County, Georgia. They provide food, clothing, and ministry to people who are struggling in the community. The mission of Bridging the Gap is to provide assistance to hungry, homeless, and hurting people. Bridging the Gap achieves its mission in three ways: 1) Lead with food 2) Serve with compassion 3) Restore through Christ

Weld Food Bank’s (WFB) mission is to “Lead and Engage Our Community in the Fight Against Hunger.” Under this mission, we “Lead” by raising awareness of hunger and its consequences, create understanding of the pervasiveness of hunger and promote advocacy with compassion, inclusion, and respect. We “Engage” by actively involving the community and working towards the common goal of food equity for all. And we “Fight Against Hunger” by placing ourselves directly where we see need, offering our services without discrimination. The purpose of our organization is to alleviate suffering from hunger in Weld County, CO by providing healthy foods to those unable to obtain adequate, nutritious food, and who are, or will otherwise, suffer from hunger. Annually, WFB assists 88,000 unique individuals through 8 direct service programs designed to feed hungry children, adults, and seniors. The goal of all WFB hunger relief programs is to ensure that no person in Weld goes hungry and that every individual has access to healthy, affordable foods.

The What If? Foundation's mission is to feed and educate impoverished children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, providing hope and opportunity for a brighter future.

Nourish Food Banks is the oldest and largest food bank network in Pierce County, with locations in Edgewood, Graham/South Hill, Lakewood, Northeast Tacoma, Northwest Tacoma, Southeast Tacoma and West Tacoma. Nourish’s innovative Mobile Food Bank, a semi-truck and trailer turned food bank on wheels, visits a different location daily, including schools in the Bethel, Clover Park and Tacoma School Districts, and higher education learning centers like Tacoma Community College and UW Tacoma. The mission of Farm Rescue is to help family farms and ranches bridge crises so they have an opportunity to continue viable operations. Farm Rescue provides planting, haying, harvesting, and livestock feeding assistance to farm and ranch families that have experienced a major injury, illness, or natural disaster.
