New Directions believes that people who have disabilities deserve the same opportunities in life that others expect and enjoy. Our profoundly enriching travel programs expand the self-esteem of every traveler. Whole new worlds of understanding open for both participants and the general population. Through these unique programs, people with disabilities are increasingly understood, appreciated and accepted as important and contributing members of our world. The Maddie Potts Foundation was established in November of 2017, less than2 months after Maddie's sudden death on the soccer field of an unknown brain aneurysm. Thefoundation was founded in order to carry on Maddie's legacy of kindness, compassion, hard work,inclusive leadership and perseverance, aka Maddie Mentality. We look forward to giving back tothe community each year with scholarships, facility upgrades and opportunities for individuals ​with disabilities and eventually help change the statistics of acute death and disability of brain aneurysms through funding and research

Promote, strengthen and advance programs that have a focus on health and wellness for children and adolescents in Baja California Sur

Pencils of Promise (“PoP”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that believes every child deserves access to quality education.  They create schools, programs and global communities around the common goal of education for all.

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.

Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking. Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Our sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities. We use the “teach a man to fish” model focusing on training local doctors to perform cleft repairs in their communities. Those doctors then go on to train other doctors creating a long-term, sustainable system. Patients see their smile for the first time, parents cry tears of joy, lives and communities are changed forever. As a result of our efficiency and with the support of our donors and partners around the world, Smile Train has transformed the lives of more than one million children by giving them the power of a smile -- that's roughly 350 surgeries a day and 128,000+ every year.
