Our mission is to unlock the potential in every youth through career-based mentoring.

Covenant House California (CHC) is a non-profit agency whose mission is to reach out to at-risk homeless youth living on the streets and offer them hope and opportunities to turn their lives around. We help abused or neglected youth who have nowhere else to go. A large number have been thrown out of their homes while others have aged out or left the foster care system with no family, no support, and no one to turn to. Since 1988, CHC has impacted the lives of more than 160,000 homeless youth out of our Los Angeles and Bay Area locations. More than 80% of our funding comes from private donations.

The mission of SAPA is to develop and maintain a strong and dynamic professionalsociety that:(1) Supports the advancement of its Members.(2) Responsive to the needs of its Members’ communities within the United States and Sudan.(3) Aids in fulfilling its Member’s philanthropic endeavors within the United States and Sudan.

OUR MISSION Wherever we identify a need for more diversity and more equality in the restaurant industry, we will find creative and forward-thinking solutions. We will create small but impactful programs that make a real difference in the lives of the next generation of restaurant industry professionals. We will help our community and inspire others to get involved, get active and give back.

Our work spans the globe as we assist law enforcement in rescue efforts and help provide aftercare to all those affected. While we prioritize children, we work to empower the liberation of anyone suffering at the hands of those looking to sexually exploit. We offer vital resources to authorities around the world and work tirelessly to raise awareness and meet survivors on their healing journey. Our resolve never falters, and we will boldly persevere until those in need are safe.

Clowns Without Borders defends the right to play. For 25 years, we've inspired resilience through laughter with people in refugee camps, conflict zones, and crises. As clowns, we SEE the people we’re performing for. In fact, we're performing WITH them! Together with audience members, we twist our bodies, we make funny faces, we juggle ridiculous items, and above all, we laugh. Our clowns aren’t solving geopolitics, preventing global conflict, or taking away trauma. We’re simply showing up — and showing people that they matter enough to laugh, play, and have an extraordinary day.

PROVIDE RESORCES AND CRITICAL INFORMATION We advocate and empower grandparents raising grandchildren by providing access to resources, information and support.

Mission: To achieve food security in Douglas County.The Carson Valley Community Food Closet is a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization providing food to qualifying residents in Douglas County. Basic commodities are provided on a monthly basis to participants to supplement their food supply. We strive to provide participants with a variety of healthy food from each food group. The Food Closet is supported by donations from local individuals, churches, community service groups and businesses. Many food items are donated directly to the Food Closet while others are purchased at a very low rate through our partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

Through investments and crowdfunded loans, we enable people to open opportunity to those in need of financial access, bridging the gap between “I need” and “I have” — and delivering one-to-one impact for women, refugees, small businesses, and communities around the world.
