Partnership and Inspiration for Engineering Education and Entrepreneurship promotes extracurricular programs involving robotics in the Carroll County, Maryland Region. Teams are open to students in grades K-12, with adult mentors guiding them in hands-on preparation for careers and studies in STEM.

The mission of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) is to provide software for the public good. We do this by providing services and support for many software project communities consisting of individuals who choose to participate in ASF activities.

MHI was created to level the healthcare playing field by promoting, educating and ensuring equal healthcare access and treatment for underserved and vulnerable communities. GeoHazards International works to reduce loss of life and suffering around the world in communities most at risk from earthquakes, tsunamis, landslides and floods. Our vision is a world of self-reliant communities - rural and urban - that can continue their economic, political and cultural development unimpeded by natural disasters. GHI helps communities avert disaster by creating safer buildings, assessing geophysical hazards, helping governments affordably prepare, and educating residents about what to do in the face of high risk. GHI bridges the gap between scientific experts and the people in developing countries who want to take action. In each case we work with communities toward locally appropriate and lasting solutions.

The Naval Aviation Museum Foundation (NAMF) inspires, engages and educates the public by supporting, promoting and perpetuating the National Naval Aviation Museum (NNAM) and through the National Flight Academy (NFA), delivering aviation inspired learning experiences focused on science, mathematics and 21st century leadership skills.

Founded in 1984, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is a unique cooperative project of the City of Boca Raton, the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District, Florida Atlantic University, and Friends of Gumbo Limbo. We are dedicated to inspire stewardship of our coastal and marine ecosystems through education, research, and conservation.

To create curiosity thru the exploration in astronomy. To get youth interested in Steam and Steam (arts added) one must get them curious. Memorization off a blackboard is in-effective BUT if one can get them curious then it is soaked up like a sponge! When people go to the observatory and use our scopes, it is eye opening and a bit of Mr. Wizard. Our handicap accessible and user friendly observatory encourages thinking outside the box.

We envision a regenerative Northeast LA that honors existing cultural and community-based systems, reconciles our extractive relationship to land and labor, and ensures stability for working class communities of color.
