Founded in 1998 by leading conservation ecologists, PBI conducts scientific research, training and outreach in ecology, conservation biology, botany and natural resource management, with an emphasis on climate change vulnerability, environmental futures and conservation leadership training. We are especially active in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and in Argentina, but we have conducted work throughout the Americas.

To cultivate a spirit of adventure and exploration through the preservation and presentation of Martin and Osa Johnson's life work.

The mission of Fins Attached is to conduct research, promote conservation, and provide education for the protection of the marine ecosystem.   We believe in the preservation of our world's precious resources and that, through the protection of the oceans apex predators, marine ecosystem balance can be maintained for the benefit of all living things on earth.

Summit for Stem Cell Foundation’s mission is to increase awareness, educate and raise funds in support of research working toward a patient-specific neuron replacement therapy for Parkinson’s that will result in a victory over Parkinson’s disease.

The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center focuses scientific research at the nexus of food, energy and the environment to improve the productivity and sustainability of agriculture. We assemble interactive teams of scientists and develop unique platforms to discover underlying principles about how plants work. We then convert that knowledge into useful crops and products, and partner with organizations that are best positioned to solve problems where they exist around the world.

The organization's mission is to generate financial support for Roper Mountain Science Center beyond the reach of the school district of Greenville County, in order to instill a love and appreciation of science among school children, teachers, and families.

The Foundation works closely with the National Biodiesel Board to address national issues affecting us all -- cleaner air, greater economic development for rural communities, and enhanced national security through energy independence. Organized in 1994, our mission is to accomplish outreach, education, research and demonstration activities for the advancement of biodiesel.

The Spartanburg Science Center inspires excitement for science through interactive exhibits, live animals and programs that excite, engage, and educate. Zartonk-89 strives to support community development, help single parent, parentless and needy children, teenagers and youth to solve their educational, social, health, juridical problems, provide them with mental, physical development and life improvement.

Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in 13 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and raises funds for numerous long-term programs. These funds are used to support our local partners with the aims of alleviating poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change. We do this through education, nutrition, conservation and capacity building. Our work focuses upon 3 key objectives: awareness, impact and empowerment. The aim is to create awareness of global issues, have a direct impact on those issues locally and empower our alumni, be they volunteers, donors, staff or community members, to continue impacting local issues on a global level.
