The mission of Hope's Door New Beginning Center is to offer intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community's capacity to respond.Hope's Door New Beginning Center's vision is to become a leading advocate for ending domestic abuse.

Global Grassroots is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to catalyze women and girls as leaders of conscious social change in their communities. Global Grassroots' work is guided by four core values that form our theory of change: 1. Deepening personal consciousness and contributing towards the common good are both essential to social change. 2. One of the most effective levers of social change is a woman with the capability, resources, power, courage and inner commitment to initiate positive change for herself and others. 3. Sustaining and accelerating conscious social change requires investment in supporting civil society architecture. 4. Mind-body trauma healing plus the opportunity for women to form groups and create community-based organizations to advance social change represents the most effective and holistic approach towards individual and community healing during post-conflict reconstruction. Our long-term vision is that vulnerable women will have the capacity and resources to lead conscious social change, sustained by their own communities.

NWCAVE helps to inform, educate and prevent violence and exploitation against women and children nationally and internationally. Boy with a Ball is a youth, family and community development organization working to develop teams which dynamically impact young people in cities across the world through: Reaching young people and their families within their own neighborhoods, drawing them into in-depth one-to-one mentoring relationships and small groups, equipping them to grow into leaders, building communities of and around them and releasing them to improve the world.

About Us: Our Bridgeport club was founded in 1992, and is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which was founded in 1921. Soroptimist is an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world. A 501(c)(3) organization, Soroptimist relies on charitable contributions to fund its programs. Local members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimists in more than120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women. Soroptimist International has consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council, which oversees U.N. activities promoting human rights. In addition to sponsoring the awards programs, our club has participated in community programs focused on various health and human service issues for women and girls, such as the Center for Women and Families, Mi Casa/My Home, Women and Men’s Health Project, Project Courage, and Local Soup Kitchens. Athens CASA/GAL Program is a court-based, non-profit organization that recruits and trains community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates to represent the best interests of children that come to the attention of juvenile court because of abuse or neglect.

Soroptimist International of Marysville is celebrating 30 years of service to our community. We are part of Soroptimist International, with over 95,000 members in 120 countries around the globe. Our focus is on service: we are committed to improving the lives of women and children in our community, our country, and around the world. at our local club level, we organize fundraisers to support various service projects chosen by the members. We do several hands-on projects and also donate money to projects that share our vision. We recognize exceptional women and girls with awards and monetary grants to help them continue their work.

The mission of Women’s Empowerment International (WE) is to give women the tools they need to work their way out of poverty. In partnership with nonprofit microfinance organizations, WE provides small, repayable business loans and services for women and supports other poverty-reduction strategies in places where WE can make a difference. WE’s commitment is to education, to mutual communication, and to furthering the worldwide effort to alleviate poverty.
