Free2Be is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit community service organization dedicated to engaging in effective advocacy for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people. We are committed to ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of youth and young adults struggling due to sexual orientation or gender identity issues.
Gay For Good mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) volunteers and allies to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader communities where we live and work. Gay For Good was founded in 2008 and has a proven track record of success. The Spectrum Center was founded in 2014 with the purpose of being a resource and an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in and around Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Spectrum Center is serving as a host location for meetings for various groups affiliated with the LGBTQ+ community. Currently, we have free HIV testing and other health-related functions through collaboration with the greater community; social functions and support groups. However, long-term plans include providing counseling, a community kitchen and pantry; and short-term emergency housing for LGBTQ+ youth who have been displaced.

VideoOut is a national nonprofit that produces LGBTQIA+ stories, content, and programs By Us, For All to educate and equip the world to advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community. In 2016 they started as a project to tell LGBTQIA+ stories knowing that visibility is key to building community and bridges of empathy. Over the last year, they’ve dug deep into education and advocacy and began the first phase of their legacy, the LGBTQ+ Learning Project.
To facilitate innovation and creativity in education. We work directly with K-12 and university faculty and students to develop materials and produce programs. Our current initiative entitled: "Like Bamboo: Stories of LGBT asylum seekers" will be an educational resource for interested parties of all ages.
