We exist to train local Community Health Workers with basic health knowledge and skills to improve the health of their own communities. Our vision is the end of preventable diseases in underprivileged areas globally by Educating, Empowering, and Equipping local health leaders, whose impact will change the course of their community.

Since 1946, the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind has trained and placed guide and service dogs to provide independence, enhanced mobility, and companionship to people who are blind, have low vision, or who have other special needs. The Guide Dog Foundation serves clients from across the United States and Canada. People come to us for our trademark small classes and personalized instruction, and we have successfully worked with individuals who are deaf-blind and those with disabilities other than blindness or hearing impairment. In addition to our guide and service dog programs, the Foundation offers extensive education and outreach programs to broaden the public's understanding of vision and visual impairment, and access and disability rights.

Founded in 1996, this community based organization provides health care services through its legacy namesake, The James A. Watson Wellness Center. The non-profit charity foundation, Preventive Care Pathways, also provides educational outreach to underserved and/or marginalized communities throughout the Bay Area. Our goal is to decrease the disparities in health care services, education and mortality outcomes among those most marginalized or underserved through culturally sensitive care and education. We seek to start at the beginning, with the Youth of our community and "Keep Youth Alive" and firmly believe that "Art Saves Lives". The primary function of Preventive Care Pathways in serving the community is to bring together the resources that are most beneficial to our youth followed by incorporating Youth and their needs within the community of Adults in business and medicine, and especially in science, technology, reading, engineering, arts and mathematics or, in short, "S.T.R.E.A.M." "Remember, your health is your wealth and if you knew better you would do better! (c)". So we move to bring all of the educational instruments to our Youth and those who are there to support them, starting with our Youth in Arts Project. Please give generously and give frequently. Established in 1987, Global Health Ministries (GHM) continues the healing ministry of Jesus by enhancing health care programs of Lutheran churches in other countries. We pursue this mission by providing financial support for health care programs, receiving and shipping donated medical supplies and equipment, recruiting health care personnel for short term training projects, and collaborating with overseas partners in health care program development.

Parkinson's Resource Organization is the only emotional and educational support organization in the Parkinson's world with a vision of working so that no one is isolated because of Parkinson's disease. Our mission is helping families affected by Parkinson's through Information and Referrals, a monthly newsletter called "Newsworthy Notes", Educational and Emotional Support Groups, and the only virtual, vetted, video-driven Resource Directory located on our website. Since inception, the organization developed support and educational group meeting that have now gone virtual and can be reached in any home around the world. These sessions provide the Parkinson's community with information and education regarding health care, legal matters, finance, and other areas of professional help, up to and including Hospice, where our constituents may be experiencing difficulty.
