The National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) was founded in 1973 to support cancer research and public education relating to the prevention, early diagnosis, better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for cancer. NFCR promotes and facilitates collaboration among scientists to accelerate the pace of discovery from bench to bedside. NFCR is committed to Making Cures Possible – cures for all types of cancer.

Upstage Lung Cancer is a unique nonprofit that uses the performing arts to raise lung cancer awareness and fund early detection research. Our vision is to advocate for early detection in lung cancer. Our goal is to help increase lung cancer detection and diagnosis rates by 50% by 2025.

Helps people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of cancer through professionally facilitated programs of emotional support, education, wellness and hope. All programs are provided free of charge.

To build hope for every child and family fighting pediatric cancer.

Family Reach is a national nonprofit that provides critical financial support to cancer patients and their families, who often have to choose between treatment and daily living essentials like food or electricity. Family Reach works with patients and healthcare professionals at more than 400 top-tier hospitals and cancer centers to reach families before they hit critical financial breaking points.

Provide a service to the breast cancer community. Support women enduring the trials of breast cancer. Aid the families of women enduring the trials of breast cancer. Aid the families of those that have lost a mother to breast cancer. Support causes that promote the fight for a cure to breast cancer.

Casey Cares provides ongoing uplifting programs for families with critically ill children in seven states and Washington, D.C. Believing in the importance of family, the programs at Casey Cares are structured to bring comfort and support to families during an extremely difficult time. The Casey Cares Foundation programs give families the chance to share treasured moments and become a source of strength for each other. Children under the age of 18 who are on active treatment for a critical illness may participate in our programs. Children who participate in Casey Cares Foundation programs suffer from various illnesses, including cancer, sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, complex heart disease, cardiomyopathy, and severe aplastic anemia.

At Mama’s Kitchen we believe that everyone is entitled to the basic necessity of life — nutritious food. As a community-driven organization, we provide nutrition support to men, women, and children affected by AIDS or cancer who are vulnerable to hunger.

TO BUILD A LONG-TERM SUSTAINABLE ENDOWMENT FUND AND PROVIDE FOR THE STEWARDSHIP OF SUCH FUNDS IN ORDER TO HELP FIGHT CANCER IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY THE CENTER. THE FOUNDATION MAY ALSO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS LOCATED IN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREAS SERVED BY THE CENTER, WHICH HAVE DEMONSTRATED THE ABILITY TO CONDUCT CANCER-RELATED PROGRAMS OR SERVICES THAT REDUCE CANCER INCIDENCE AND MORTALITY, OR IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY CANCER.

With a mission to find a cure for brain cancer, HOTB fundraises to support the work of world-class medical researchers and doctors, dedicated to understanding the causes and prevention of brain cancer; developing earlier detection techniques; and discovering new and improved treatments. HOTB supports the life-changing research and treatment happening at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and the UCLA Brain Tumor Center, which were designated a Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) in 2017 by the National Cancer Institute – one of only six brain cancer programs in the nation – recognizing UCLA’s breadth and depth in state-of-the-art, innovative, investigator-initiated translational research(bench to bedside) contributing to improved detection, diagnosis, and treatment of brain cancer. The Prostate Cancer Research Institute (PCRI), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, that is dedicated to helping prostate cancer patients and caregivers research your treatment options. We understand that they have lots of questions and we can help them find the answers that are specific to their case. All of our resources are designed by a multidisciplinary team of patients, advocates, and leading medical doctors, for the patient. We believe that by educating oneself about the disease, they will have more productive interactions with their medical professionals, and get better individualized care.
