Families are at the heart of MDA's mission. We wake up every morning to create more hope and answers for families living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases that take away physical strength and mobility. We do this by finding research breakthroughs across diseases, caring for kids and adults from day one and empowering families with services and support in hometowns across America.

With the success of the Salk vaccine in the mid 1950s, the March of Dimes turned its focus on birth defects, low birth weight and infant death. Over the past 75 years, March of Dimes' cutting edge research and innovative programs have saved millions of babies from death or disability. We are committed to educating medical professionals and the public, supporting research, providing comfort and support to families in NICUs, and advocating for moms and babies. All mothers and babies deserve access to the tools they need for the success of their families, so that the future is brighter for all. Every Mom. Every Baby.

AFTD’s mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by FTD and drive research to a cure. We work every day to advance: Research. We promote and fund research toward diagnosis, treatment and a cure. Awareness. We stimulate greater public awareness and understanding. Support. We provide information and support to those directly impacted. Education. We promote and provide education for healthcare professionals. Advocacy. The mission of Hearing Health Foundation (formerly called Deafness Research Foundation) is to prevent and cure hearing loss through ground breaking research.

Atlanta Mission transforms, through Christ, the lives of those facing homelessness.

Children's Miracle Network saves the lives of children by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals and foundations throughout the world. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
