Mission: The purposes of the Blackbird Foundation, formerly known as 'Alik'alak'wa'ishe, are to create and operate a Chumash Indian religious, educational and cultural center and to enable children to learn traditional, academic, environmental and culturally relevant subjects and to raise and provide funds for the support of, and to carry on, the forgoing and other charitable activities. New Earth creates new worlds for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youth. We interrupt the patterns that lead them to becoming the next statistic. This is done through a series of innovative arts and educational-based mentorship and post-release programs that nurture self- expression, stimulate positive growth and promote systemic change. Our programs take our students from correction to introspection to new direction; helping release self-imposed and societal barriers to realize their full potential. New Earth is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.

Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii is a grassroots, local nonprofit organization run by a small team of dedicated staff and supported by passionate volunteers, just like you. We inspire local communities to care for their coastlines through fun, hands-on beach cleanups. CAI is a tax-exempt research and educational institute focusing on anthropogenic climate change, dangerous interference with the climate system, the contribution of fossil fuel producers' carbon production to atmospheric carbon dioxide content, and the risk and disclosure requirements of fossil fuel producers regarding past and future emissions of greenhouse gases. But simpler: the Climate Accountability Institute seeks to hold major oil, natural gas, and coal producers accountable for the global warming consequences of their fossil fuel products, and to guide their investments into fuel and power sources we and the rest of the world’s consumers can sustainably and profitably live with.
