Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF) strives for a compassionate, generous and equitable community, connected to each other and the land that supports us. NRCF connects people and communities to tackle social and environmental challenges in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia. We focus our philanthropic support on small community grants; disaster recovery, resilience & regeneration projects; capacity building initiatives; scholarship programs and providing 'back to school' support for disadvantaged children.

Our Mission is to help establish and support a tradition of Philanthropy in the Southern Highlands NSW, by providing a simple and effective way to give something of real value back to the community. Respect, diversity, collaboration a stewardship are the values which provide guiding principles for the way in which we operate. Our Vision is a strong and resilient Southern Highlands Community. Paris Basket 18 aims to promote the integration of young girls from underprivileged neighborhoods through sport. Two types of projects are carried out by the club: - actions around the leisure practice of basketball and sports in general. - actions around a competitive basketball practice The aim is to create an original way of social integration of children and adolescent girls from underprivileged backgrounds, to promote the practice of femininity in order to fight against the cultural sexism that girls face in their daily lives, the appropriation by adolescent girls of a cultural object very marked by the practice of males goes in the direction of a redefinition of the social roles attributed to boys and girls. Le sport est donc l'outil grace auquel nous mobilisons les jeunes filles. En complement de cela, nous leur proposons un accompagnement plus global afin de developper leurs competences qu'elles soient scolaires ou sociales. Nous mettons en place de nombreuses activites afin de permettre a chaque jeune d'etre epanouie et a meme de faire face aux difficultes qu'elles vont affronter en etant le plus confiantes possibles. Un ensemble d'actions autour de l'accompagnement a la scolarite est mis en place: - de l'aide aux devoirs - une mediation entre les familles et les etablissements scolaires - un suivi psychologique des jeunes et/ou de leurs familles - des ateliers de paroles encadres par notre psychologue Les intervenants sont formes et suivis tout au long de l'annee par notre psychologue afin d'intervenir de facon la plus juste possible aupres des jeunes.

We build the capacity of individuals and groups to act beyond themselves, to create action and change in their organisation, industry or sector, and in their community. We develop and promote leadership through our education programs and alumni network, and collaborations with mission-aligned organisations. The ARLF is the only leadership development organisation in Australia with both a national footprint and a focus on rural, regional and remote.

Futebol da forca [football gives strength] is an independent international foundation, educational platform and community for purpose-driven football coaches. The organisation was founded in Mozambique in 2012 to work within football to empower girls with agency to make informed decisions and live a life they value. Futebol da forca engages, trains and supports voluntary football coaches to empower girls within football, while changing attitudes and norms that today prevent girls from reaching their full potential, in order for girls to thrive far outside the football field.

The OGDH has a general objective: the promotion and protection / defense of Human Rights being inside and outside Guinea. In such, it aims are: a) To fight against intolerance, arbitrariness and discrimination of any kind; b) To oppose any sort of violation of Human Rights, Liberty, Justice and Equality: c) To contribute to the edification of Guinea as a State of Rights and true democracy.

Sustainable Coastlines is a registered New Zealand charity. We're on a mission to enable people to look after the coastlines and waterways they love. We love our coasts and waterways and we work with our sleeves rolled up to keep them healthy and beautiful. We deliver coastal clean-up events, educational programmes, public awareness campaigns, and riparian planting projects. We also work with volunteers, interns, ambassadors and local community groups to enable them to deliver these activities in their own communities. Attracting a diverse set of potential leaders to teach, for two years in Zimbabwe's highest-need communities so that they can unleash their leadership. This unleashed leadership will allow teacher fellows and their students to continuously challenge educational injustices and drive the movement to an equitable and holistic education for all children in Zimbabwe.

To create solutions to CHILD ABUSE, LACK OF EDUCATION, HUNGER AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. To create a movement for leaders and individuals to support kids growing up in poverty get an excellent education and achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

The Pre-School offers a safe and happy environment in which children receive an excellent quality of education and care. The children spend their time learning through play, with planned acitivities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

The Adult Literacy Trust, or ALT, provides adults the opportunity to break the cycle of exclusion and poor literacy by providing personalised tutoring in basic reading skills, delivered through a network of skilled volunteers. Through one-to-one instruction, the charity is dedicated to ensuring that individuals who wish to improve their literacy skills receive the help they need to become successful readers, and to increase their life chances. When adults learn to read, it better prepares them to live out their roles in the community as parents, workers and citizens. Teaching an adult to read can have a profound and lasting impact on their ability to function successfully within society, by improving their ability to find and retain decent-paying jobs, actively engage in community activities, and help informed decisions that can ensure healthy lives. ALT's mission is to recruit and train volunteer tutors who provide instruction to adults in reading, targeting the staggering number of adults in the UK who have poor literacy, lacking basic skills beyond primary school level or less. Individual tuition is provided to adult students, free of charge. The organisation works with a number of teaching institutions, as well as local authorities and libraries, to source adult learners who can benefit from reading tuition.
