Founded in 1881, Spelman College is an outstanding historically Black college for women. Our purpose is to financially improve the lives of hundreds of children and their community in Kapsabet, Kenya. Founded in 2003, a library and kitchen have been built along with classrooms and a well. We have no paid staff and two fundraising parties are held each year in Colorado.
