SR3 rescues and protects marine animals. We deliver emergency response and expert rehabilitation to give sick, injured and entangled marine animals a second chance at life in the wild. Kitten Rescue was founded in the spring of 1997 and has grown to become one of the largest and well-respected rescue groups in Los Angeles. We are a non-profit, totally volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. We are equally dedicated to giving the public vital information about responsible pet ownership, care of kittens and cats, managing feral cats, and most importantly, the importance of spaying and neutering. Our website at www.kittenrescue.org features information on cat rescue, care, and adoption for animal lovers all over the world. The majority of our cats are cared for in foster homes until they are placed with adopters, who are screened carefully to ensure the stability and quality of an animal's new environment. Before going home, each cat or kitten is fixed, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and microchipped. We also provide full medical care for the cats in our care until they are adopted. Since May 2005, Kitten Rescue has operated the Casitas Hotel for Cats, a private, no-kill shelter and boarding facility in Atwater Village. Kitten Rescue purchased the facility in March 2006.

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation develops resources to advance the science and practice of veterinary medicine to improve animal and human health.The AVMF is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world. For more than 55 years, the Foundation has been helping veterinarians help animals with support for education, animal welfare, disaster relief, and research programs and activities.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center is one of the leading non-profit, no-kill animal shelters in Washington State. Our mission is to give homeless animals a second chance through rescue, shelter and adoption. Located in Woodinville, Homeward Pet finds new homes for over 1600 cats and dogs, puppies and kittens every year. We are dedicated to providing excellent care to our animals, and great service to our two-legged visitors. As a privately funded 501(c)3 charity, we rely completely on donor support to help us provide food, shelter, vet care and more to each homeless cat or dog in our care. Over 75% of every dollar donated goes to the care of our animals.
