Our goal at Sunset Farms is to provide a safe and loving home for all animals that step onto our sanctuary, because we believe they have the right to be free to live their lives how they were mean to and to feel nothing but love and security from the humans that surround them. Freedom Canines International\u2019s mission is simple- Pups Empowering People! We raise and train life-saving assistance dogs, partnering them with Texans in need of their specialized skills at no charge. In addition to empowering clients, we have created a training process designed to empower high school students through their involvement in training future assistance dogs. Freedom Canines is an integral part of agriculture classes at participating high schools, utilizing puppies to engage students in hands-on learning.

Valiant Light Animal Rescue's mission is :to rehabilitate, enrich the lives and establish suitable homes for abandoned and unwanted companion animals from euthanasia and abuse; to provide education to the community and to support the ethical treatment of animals including the importance and benefits of spaying and neutering; we shelter these animals in a safe environment until and if appropriate homes can be found."

Cats Amore's primary rescue focus is mostly adult or senior cats, cats with special needs or at high risk of euthanasia in shelters. However Cats Amore Animal Rescue will take Mama cats and kittens (families), abandoned kittens and sometimes even dogs based on space available and willing foster homes. We also provide assistance to local senior citizen pet owners needing to find placement for their pets due to health, financial or other reasons.Cats Amore Animal Rescue accepts and adopts out FIV+ cats as space or foster opportunities allow.Cats Amore offers unique pet fostering opportunities for humans in certain life stages.All of our cats/kittens are fully vetted and cared for by the rescue and/or foster homes until they find a permanent, loving indoor home.
